You’ve created a design for your heat transfer – perfect!
To make sure it’s produced exactly the way you envisioned it, we need a file we can work with seamlessly. Sounds complicated? Don’t worry – with just a few simple steps, you’ll ensure your project starts without delay and is produced in the best possible quality.
Every printing method has its own file requirements. For heat transfers, we need vector files because they can be scaled without losing quality. In contrast, pixel-based files like .jpg or .png are not ideal – they’re made up of individual pixels and become blurry when enlarged.
By providing the correct file, you save yourself and us time, avoid revisions, and ensure smooth production of your heat transfer.
✅ .ai (Adobe Illustrator)
✅ .eps (Encapsulated PostScript)
✅ .pdf (Vector-based)
✅ .svg (Scalable Vector Graphics)
✅ .cdr (CorelDRAW)
❌ Pixel-based graphics (.jpg, .png, .gif, .psd)
❌ Fonts not converted to outlines (fonts must be outlined)
❌ Screenshots or Word/PowerPoint files
No worries! You have two options:
✅ Ask your designer or agency – the file may already exist as a vector.
✅ We can vectorise your logo – if not, we’re happy to help (additional costs may apply). Just reach out to us.
Colours are essential for branding. To ensure your logos are produced in exactly the right shade, we work with Pantone.
If your design uses Pantone references, you can be confident the result will match your expectations.
If you don’t have a Pantone reference – or want your logo to match the textile exactly – we offer custom colour matching. Using state-of-the-art technology, we analyse your fabric sample and create precise colour variants tailored to your material. Find out more here: How to match heat transfers to your fabric's colour.
