There is a question that we are asked frequently: “How can I implement a logo discreetly and still make it recognizable on a garment?” There are fundamentally two options to execute your design, tone-on-tone or alternatively a transparent logo.
…when you could simply use a tone-on-tone heat transfer label? While a defined colour is used with a tone-on-tone finish, you can embellish many different textile colours by using the same transparent heat transfer label and the subtle look is retained. These labels seamlessly adapt to a spectrum of fabrics, showcasing their ability to complement and enhance any textile. What sets them apart is their transparency, which allows them to blend with the colour of the fabric.
When opting for a transparent finish, the most important factor to ensure a successful and aesthetically pleasing outcome is to consider the material on which the transparent finish will be applied. Transparency works well on a variety of surfaces, but understanding the compatibility with different materials is essential for achieving the desired effect.
There are a few heat transfer options suitable for transparent logos but here are our two top recommendations:
Available with a matt or gloss finish these films turn your logo into a discreet, yet recognizable embellishment on your fabric or garment, with a glass-like transparency.
The smallest and most detailed silicone heat transfer logo possible! Our 3D SILICONE I MICRO heat transfer, perfectly displays even the finest graphic details, flawlessly.
To create a logo, we require your artwork in a vector file format (AI/PDF or PNG). If your artwork is only available in a jpg format, we can convert your file into a useable format. Please note that the line width of the logo should be at least 1.5 mm. In our experience, thinner line widths can result in the film tearing if the design is plotter or laser cut.
If you’re looking for discreet branding and heat transfer printing technique, transparent transfers offer the optimal solution.
